Vanochtend met mijn paranimfen pakken wezen passen bij Hoppezak, ‘de grootste verkleedkist van Nederland’. Een geweldig kostumenmagazijn waar je weken in kunt verdwalen en alsmaar nieuwe hoekjes ontdekken, volgeladen met uitdossingen van Zwitserse jodelhosen tot middeleeuwse harnassen, van luitenant-ter-zeebroeken tot boselftoverstafjes, u zegt het maar.
En dus een hele afdeling ‘kleding voor bizarre rituelen zoals trouwen of promoveren’. Kijk ‘m weer eens zelfgenoegzaam grijnzen, dat doctorandusje.

I’m just finishing your chapter 2 and already looking forward to learning more about the double-empty-extended-parallel-headed creatures you discuss on chapter 3… Monsters, nymphs and penguins. Man, that’s a heavy combination.

Paranymphs are a combination of modifying complements, or empty-headed constructions, with various extensions. That’s all.
